The medical disclaimer (most important)
Cudly is not a medical device. It is a keepsake and journaling companion. It is not intended for the diagnosis, screening, treatment, monitoring, or prevention of any medical condition, including conditions of pregnancy. For any medical concern about your pregnancy, please consult your healthcare provider. If you cannot detect fetal movement, are experiencing bleeding, severe pain, or any symptom that worries you, please contact your doctor or labor and delivery unit immediately.
Cudly's heartbeat capture feature is a passive microphone recording and is not a substitute for clinical examination by an ultrasound or any medical doppler. Audible sound from Cudly is not a clinically meaningful indication of fetal wellbeing.
Acceptance of these terms
By using Cudly, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Your account & content
You own everything you put into Cudly — journal entries, photos, recordings, all of it. We claim no license over your content. We process it only as needed to provide the service to you.
Acceptable use
Don't use Cudly to harm others, to evade applicable law, or to attempt to access other users' data. Don't reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our source code.
Pro tier subscription
Cudly Pro is a paid subscription. You can cancel anytime. Refunds are governed by your app store's standard policy. We do not auto-renew without explicit consent at the platform level.
Liability
Cudly is provided "as is." We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy of heartbeat capture, or the absence of bugs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cudly's liability is limited to amounts you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
Termination
You can stop using Cudly at any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms — but in practice, we essentially never do this.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
